Delight in the little things!

Hey everyone..

As we come to a close of 2013 this will be my last post for Lulupu as well :) It has been an amazing journey for me and I'm so glad to have been able to work as DT for Lulupu :)

I've learnt a very important lesson in life, and that is to simply enjoy every day as it comes and find joy in the littlest of things because we never know when we may get that moment again! My inspiration symbolises this little thought that I have :)

As my second inspiration for this challenge I've chosen a simple card that has all the ingredients :)

I've used the botanical odyssey paper pack for the flowers and background. The butterflies are also fussy cut from the same pack :)

The flowers were made using the retro flower punch from ek success. A little distressing and faux stitching completed my background :)

The sentiment is heat embossed and fussy cut :)

Continue hopping with Lulupu! Good luck!

Wish you all a superb year in 2014!!

Lots of love
Pratiksha :)

Treat bag and a card -Lulupu#22

hey everyone !
Its pooja here again :)
Here is my second inspiration for the
Challenge #22 – Cook It Up!
I made an altered treat bag with a card

Since Christmas is around , and i love it !
It had to be a treat bag to pass around nice treats to my friends and family.
I altered a sweetener box into this treat bag.
I used a cheers tilda stamp on an oval die cut.
Its colored with watercolor pencils.
There are some memory box dies and stamped doilies with the real ones.

Added a few tickets , distress and gessoed !

This is the brightest part of my card.
The reindeer is handcut !

Hope u liked my project :)
We are waiting to see what you make for the Challenge #22 – Cook It Up!

Cooking Up a Simple Crafty Recipe

Hi ya!!!

I am here today to show you one more card i cooked up for Lulupu Challenge #22..

I just picked up a very simple recipe of Die-cuts, Patterned Paper and Embellishments.  And this card is a super quick card if you have your die cuts ready in hand…. Jus some layering of CS and PP and elegant die cuts, a stamped sentiment,  mulberry flowers and leaves for final touch…

Here is my card…..(Closeup)

I am soo new to manual die cutting machine,  yes i have it for a while, but i use it only for embossing… recently started buying some dies, had a tough time experimenting the sandwiches and getting the best out of the die. Of course we crafters always come through these learning process each time we hand on new things..

This is actually not my style. I always love to work with inks and stamping… but i hardly picked up ink pad for making this simple yet elegant card… i actually like it for the reason, its so easy (yes being a lazy crafter), i think its best way to make a quick card which i always struggle, if i want to ship it urgently for a occasion/birthday…

Hop you guys enjoyed the Blog Hop.. Waiting to see what you all create for the Cook it up challenge.

Happy Crafting!!!

Love,

Varshitha
